To all R/C racers using high performance brushes:
Niftech recommends breaking in high performance brushes with Niftech's
Hyper Drops (#4510) at low voltage (2-3 volts), and using a fan to keep the
motor cool and medium brush springs. After the brushes are broken in, break in
the leading brush edges with a metal file, wipe off with a clean cotton cloth,
and spray clean with Niftech's Motor Cleaner (#4500). Keep all grit
and dirt away from brush faces. Then clean the commutator off with Niftech Comm
Stick (#4600). Do not use comm stick on brush! Clean slots out with pin
or knife. Wash motor out with Niftech Motor Spray (#4500). Oil bushings
with Niftech's Super Synthetic Oil for Bushings (#4505-BU) or oil bearings with
Niftech's Super Synthetic Oil for Bearings (#4505-BE)
Put one drop of Niftech's Hyper Drops (#4510) on each brush face and
assemble motor. When you are ready to race, put two drops of Niftech's Hyper
Drops (#4510) behind each brush, and allow drops to run towards commutator. You
are now ready to run. Repeat this procedure after every race for maximum motor
life and performance.
